2024 VILLAGE OF WAVERLY SPRING CLEAN-UP
Waverly's Spring Clean-up will be held April 29 through May 3, 2024. All items must be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. for pickup. No tires, batteries, household garbage, gas containers, paint or chemicals, or railroad cross ties will be accepted. All construction materials, such as drywall, porcelain, flooring, etc., must be taken to the dumpsters provided at the Village of Waverly Street Department located at 9040 State Route 220.
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
The Village of Waverly intends to contract for engineering services in connection with improvements to their drinking water treatment plant (WTP) and distribution system. This may include, but not be limited to General Plan, studies, models, design, bidding, and construction services. Firms interested in being considered to provide services should reply with a statement of qualifications no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024. Statements of qualifications should include information regarding the firm's history; education and experience of key personnel; the technical expertise of the firm's current staff; the firm's experience in performing engineering studies, design, construction administration and construction observation; availability of staff; the firm's equipment and facilities; and references. COMMUNITY EASTER EGG HUNT
Come and hunt over 10,000 Easter eggs with Safety Pup and Fire Pup at this year's Community Easter Egg Hunt! Waverly Community Church, the Waverly Police Department and the Waverly Fire Department would like to invite you and your family to a Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23 at the Pike County YMCA. Activities will begin at 10 a.m., and lunch will be provided. There will be prizes for kids under 12 and free lunch for the whole family. Come celebrate Easter with your friends and neighbors on March 23 at 10 a.m. at the Pike County YMCA. Egg hunts will be divided into three age groups: Preschool ages 2-5; Kindergarten-2nd grade; 3rd grade-5th grade.

Also, before you begin any digging project, make sure to call 811 at least 48 hours, but no more than 10 working days (excluding weekends and legal holidays), prior to your project.
