City to Plant 63 trees in Bristol Park

 The City Council of Waverly approved by a unanimous vote to award a contract for tree planting services to K.C. Landscaping on Tuesday December 7, 2004.  City Resolution #102-2004 approved the Mayor and Auditor to enter into a contract with KC Landscaping who is tasked with planting 63 trees of various species in the front 30 acres of the new Bristol Park.

The area of the park targeted to receive the trees is planned to be kept as open space and not receive any development involving active recreation.  Funds for the contract shall be paid from the City’s Recreational Complex Fund which was created in 1998 by City Council.  Across the street from the park on the north side of Armbruster Parkway. The Armbruster Family Trust will be planting 60 Eastern White Pine Trees in association with the new Parkview at Canal Crossing Subdivision.
